I can see it on the radar, the yellows are gradually coming south-west

More relaxing of the flow.. and direct infer.. together with an-endless pot of snow shower activity!.. this is the most eye opened I’ve been since incursion.. and for most that have been waiting at least some activity!!!!✊

T -3.3c/DP -4.2c - we are by the SE corner of the M25, and we have heavy snow again. I think the roads may be a problem in the morning.

So I take it we're looking positive for later as well.

You must have some snow now? We've had light snow for a while and as you say it's filling in the gaps nicely and topping up the inch or two already lying. Unfortunately can't read the movement of this band, so not sure what chances we can stay under the good stuff for any length of time.

Annoying that all the energy seems to be draining North - they have plenty up there!

Yep - moderate snow has been falling for 20 minutes or so. Where it has fallen on snow from earlier there is now 3-4cm. Where it didnt settle this morning, there is a decent covering.

Another half hour in the greens and dark blues would be really cool.

I'm West of you under nothing on radar and have nice snow so you should be fine.

It's so frustrating that it's just fizzling away as it tries to make inroads inland. At least I can finally confirm that I have what could be termed a covering of snow here. Can't complain I suppose.

it does look that way. hopefully it can maintain intensity over land. A lot of the convection over Kent has died in the last hour. I under the last bit of it now.

I was just looking at the jamcam in Enfield... It's hammering it down there!

Yeah, been constant in Colchester.

Just woke up ,coming down quite moderate here.

Covering the rd now.

Which it failed to do all day yesterday.

Are ambulances 4wd?

One just went past at about 40.

Which seemed very fast on this rd covered in snow and ice.

Hasn't been gritted even though its the ambulance route to the a12 from station.

Got to take daughter work at 6.30am.

Not looking forward to it...

The darcy reminents becoming a big pain in the b###ox.!! Stagnation and hold.. yet the shower activity out of the region..”with no infective of that..are making big inroads.. and running ?‍♂️ 1after the other.. which is more impactful than a stagnated decaying system!!! .. giving me the ache now!!!-also clear to see the split.. where the two scenarios are!!!!!

Yep the decaying system is killing convection, hopefully things will improve later giving people a chance of some beefy showers!
