France, Spring 1940

Can anyone assist me in my search for informatioin about the weather during the May 1940 German offensive into France?

I know from reading that from 10 May the days were hot and the nights chill and that the cloudy weahter aided the Dunkirk evacuation but I'd like to find out more.
