Up to 2 feet of snow expected in these areas by tomorrow.

The snow weather will move slowly SE and is expected to merge with Hurricane (Barbara, I think) coming in of the Pacific through Mexico, producing large flooding in Central/Southern states.

An interesting week of weather ahead for the Southern/Central US?

Which is the situation for the same day last year.

 

There is an atmospheric River setting up over the west coast & Pacific North West so should see higher areas of California with snow, most significant event this week set to be for Scandinavia think nearly all areas there will get snowcover by late this week
