Suggests to me blocking to the NE, and low pressure to the SW, a SE feed meaning driest conditions further north and west, SE parts could pull in some warmer continental air at times but may be combined with wet weather, would make for quite an interesting April.

Met Office seem to think warm is classified as mid teen temps at best, given that is what we have in prospect, locally high teens in some NW parts, I guess relative to the April average the word 'warm' is being used, but such temps in June- Aug would be classed as 'cool', in May and Sept average, they should say warmer than average I feel..
