Currently heavy snow, -0.3, guessing 2" on ground at the moment, wind has dropped, though still fairly strong.

8.30am, looks ended now, an hour of heavy snow, few drips on the go.

Sleet and wet snow yesterday evening turned to moderate-heavy snow during the early hours and into this morning. There was thunder and lightning at 0730, the first thunder in November here since 1987. Very windy overnight with a severe NW gale over the tops and a gust of 72 mph  at 2325 yesterday.

Cold and windy this morning with occasional brief glimpses of sunshine. Numerous gusts over 55 mph.

A covering of snow overnight,very windy and a bitter from the North,windy throughout but easing.Remaining very cold but just a dusting of snow left in the valley here but fully white above 200M

Overcast and windy. Feeling bitterly cold with rain at times in the morning briefly turning to sleet just before lunchtime. Maximum 4.3, minimum 2.3. Wind fresh NNW.
