Watching Buxton vs Morecambe, on the Beeb. It looks pretty horrid under that area of precipitation that is slowly edging it’s way southwards towards Stoke-on-Trent.

If only the airmass was a just a few degrees colder….

Pouring down here and 3c.Not cold enough for snow but feeling raw and unpleasant, the worst type of Winter weather.

I fear we may see more of this in the next week or so with only favoured locations further north seeing any lying snow. The colder version of Atlantic weather is not usually great here or further south, roll on high pressure for Christmas-hopefully.

Yes if anyone does get lucky with snowfall in the next few days PM it will likely  be at your elevation.

All just a tropical... sorry a typical December, wet and drab and the higher grounds get something wintry

Methinks we’ve been spoilt in the later parts of November ❄️

But we endeavour in finding the candy don’t we ...I love it me

Model output has reduced the snow risk to the highest hills for the week ahead

Had very heavy hail a bit ago which temporarily gave a slushy white covering on the ground including roads. Then a few minutes ago had a flash of lightning and crack of thunder. Pretty wild out there this evening.

Nothing here, think i was right on the edge as its just light rain and oddly i missed the lightning and didn't hear any thunder, but its clearly a beefy little storm with quite a few sferics on the radar.

Just had something. Don't know if it was sleet, snow or hail but it left another slushy covering. Getting it all lately.

Just had a massive hailstorm here, temp now 1.4 and it’s starting to sleet.

Don’t think this will be a typical December somehow.
