September 2004 Review

Hi everyone

Thought a new post for accounts of the past month with weather statistics would be a good idea.

Here it was above average temperatures again for the 10th consecutive month.

Mean temp=15.2C(avge=13.9C)

Average Max=19.3C(average=18.2C)

average minimum=11.2C(average=9.5C)

there were 17 days with rain, much of it only slight(average=13)

No days with snow, fog, thunder nor any frost, either ground or air.

Here in the nothern Tundra last month panned out like this:-

Highest daily maximum - 22.3º (5th)

Lowest daily maximum - 11.7º (20th)

Highest daily minimum - 14.6º (5th)

Lowest Daily minimum - 2.0º (23rd)

Average maximum - 17.1º

Average minimum - 8.5º

Wettest day - 29mm (12th)

No. of wet days - 19

Total rainfall - 157.7mm

And my wife thinks I'm a saddo :roll:

Highest = 29c (5th)

Lowest = 4c (early on 25th)

Average max = 19.3c (0.7c lower than 2003)

Average min = 10.3c (0.7c higher than 2003)

Mean = 15c (same as September 2003 :!: )

Very interesting comparisons above to last year

Dry days = 14 including the 1st 9 days (11 dry days in a row if you inc. last 2 of August)

Rain days = 16

Thunder heard several times on the 13th but on no other days.

I forgot the extremes this morning.

Max 25.6C on 5th September

Min on the night of 16th was 6.5C

lowest day max of 14.9C on24th with the warmest night on11th with 15.0C
