If the models "keep correcting North" you might not be far out. Mine looks a little conservative, especially on the snowfall, but there's a lot can change before then.

I will update this to heavy rain for most of the day, +2 to +4 degrees. Maybe some sleet in higher areas of the city, and possibly snow towards Currie/Balerno. Easterly winds.

Morning: Frosty start to the day, blue sky and cold! 

Afternoon and evening: Staying cold with a few showers blowing in from the east later in the day. Sleety pish in town but light snow here with a light covering by end of day which I won't see due to being half cut and asleep on the sofa! 

Bit of a fail really! Min was -1c and max was 4c. 2c out in both directions. No real frost, no showers, no sleety pish and no light snow! There was, however, plenty of sun and blue sky, a breeze that would cut you in half and I've yet to fall asleep

Actual high 1.5C, low -0.7C, broken cloud and sun most of the day, breezy later.
