A mild night with thick fog until 0600 and then fog until 0730. The fog then lifted but by that time there was moderate-heavy rain.

A damp foggy morning is now a cloudy wet one, 3.8 mm of it so far and the current temperature is the overnight low at 7.9 C

Early morning rain cleared by 1000 and the thick fog lifted around 0730 to leave the rest of the day mainly dry with a few brief glimpses of sunshine.
