Dry with a lot of cloud, another very mild night, the low was 11.7 C

A cloudy night with the cloud lowering to give mist and a few spots of drizzle around midnight and into the early hours. The cloud cleared before dawn and it's a dry and sunny start to the day. The 24 hr  min' of 9.9c was the highest on record in January easily beating the previous record of 8.5c on the 21st in 2008.

Very mild and cloudy overnight, some showery rain. A good deal of cloud this morning showers close by. Sunny spells developing after mid morning and continuing for the rest of the day, again very mild.

Cloudy overnight, but partially clearing by sunrise. The min temp of 11.1C was the highest on record for January, beating 2005 by 0.7C.

Now 12.6C and sunny.

You could be well placed for a record max today, some very warm air hanging on there until the afternoon.

Its 13.6C at the moment and the January record here is 14.8C, so it could be a stretch.

This mild spell seems to have been notable more for the minima than maxima. The 15-16C temperatures predicted haven't really materialised so far.
