Thanks @Mapantz off we go again.

So early evening showers in the vicinity, with a high today of 13.7°C at: 10:32, somewhat below other areas hitting the 15°C mark, but then again, it has been dull, rather than patchy blue..currently 12.1°C, with the breeze whilst in from the SW, has dropped back to around 11/12mph locally, and the RH94%. Maybe tomorrow will have longer spells of blue shy, hmm just MAYBE..

Thunderstorms forecast for PM today. Already looking quite lively to the west and south-west.

After the rain earlier (no thunder) the sky cleared and we have a planeticious view this evening for the first time in many days (possibly weeks)..

Just goes to show what a clear night can do, currently 9.8°C, back in to the single digits even in a warm spell!

I dont think I've seen so much

As there is in the MAD thread right now, two posts, one after the other, cite:

What’s false? So it’s cold for the next 10 days (overall and relative for Jan)?

“Mild and cloudy next 10 days based on latest output (relative for Jan).”

WHY DO PEOPLE BOTHER?

It's a joke in there right now.

A bit more in the way of weather today! Still mostly cloudy but with a fairly lively spell of rain around lunchtime and another hefty shower this evening. Reached 11.8°C, currently 10.6°C

Morning All, whilst overcast , it'd dry after a low of 8.7°C at: 06:58, things have warmed now 9.9°C with a slight breeze in from the SW, yet seemingly nice enough to get a few folks out on to the beach and in to the surf this morning:

From above the veil of cloud shows nicely with the lower angle of the sun:

Quite enjoying the wild differences depending on what model you look at for tomorrow afternoon down in central southern...
GFS = couple of cm slow fluries
ECMWF = Dry
Icon / Aperge = Rain

So who on Earth knows! Ha.

Rain it is!

Not sure whether we have a chance tomorrow or Wednesday… doubtful! For us in the very far south might be the best chance we have all winter
