After the early sleet we had about half an hour of snow. Relieved to now know that despite being barely above sea level, it can and does snow here. Nice to see a bit of blue sky later too, although saying the sun came out would be stretching it a bit far.

Felt much more like winter today and finally had more than a few minutes of sun, a damp start but brightened up later in the afternoon. Reached 9.6°C (last night), currently 1.4°C

The milder days gone and the cold looks to have settled in.
0.7mm of rain yesterday, 9mm so far this month.

9c at 11am yesterday and a slow drop through the day to 3c at midnight.
Warmed up to 3.9c at 3am.
A low of 2.9c at 7am and looks to be rising slowly.
Now 3.1c, 1013.7 hPa, 4-8mph WNW wind.

Last year turned out to be a wet one here;
2017 = 633.5 mm, 2018 = 749.1 mm, 2019 = 739.3 mm, 2020 = 807.1 mm 
2021 total of 89.1 + 59.3 + 31.1 + 1.2 + 81.2 + 88.4 + 109.1 + 105.3 + 42.9 + 174.5 + 8.8 + 107.2 = 898.1 mm

An actual  frost this morning then a completely sunny day! And now the lovely crescent moon shining as dusk falls along with the temperature.

I don't think there's been a single frost day here so far, today though it's actually been chilly partly because of the wind.

Makes a difference from the dull and somewhat warn weather for the time of year.

First real frost of the year, well this Winter.
Even made it to the grass and not just the usual roofs, greenhouses and fences.
Was quite misty here too in early hours. 

Was 0.4c at midnight.
A low of -1.9c at 7am.
Warming up nicely and now 1.5c

Air frost last night but nothing as cold as I was expecting... just a bog standard frosty night. The hunt for a cold spell continues...
