One day of lovely blue skies and sunshine yesterday, now back to type of cloudy sky, and rain which has now arrived.

The stupid metoffice pizza wedge thinks it's been raining here for the past 2-3 hours. It's very wrong. It hasn't even started yet! Why does it do that!! Sooo annoying!

Very wet & windy. 7mm of rain, gusting to 35mph.

Such a strange few months of weather.. particularly this morning with such low minima, then heavy rain and gusty winds in the afternoon.

The temperature rose by 8c here! It was at -2 at 9am and went up to 7c. In came the atlantic out went the cold

Psshhhhh, down it came, torrential rain, flooding the local roads for a short time 18:15 radar shows it just about to hit the triangle (me)

Dropped to -3.2°C here last night making it the coldest night so far by some distance. Cloudy all day with rain during the afternoon. Reached 8.7°C, currently 7.1°C

Warmest it's been all day at 7c now!

First slushy shower blowing through now sliding down the windows. Standard temperature drop as a result.

Just binned off the morning walk. All togged up, but stepped out and it's cold, wet and sleety. Horrible.

Tomorrow looks like a write off.

The radar is a liar this morning! Showing rain in Bridport when the sky is completely clear!

So on reaching the top of Brassknocker (Bath) definite white stuff on the ground. Mot much, and not everywhere, but white. Closer inspection suggests graupel.

Not optimistic for this afternoon, even if GFS is suggesting snow for salisbury plain...
