    Another dry and almost cloudless night but with fog in the valleys more extensive than yesterday by dawn. A broken sheet of Sc has moved in from the south west in the last 20 minutes.

    A foggy frosty start, thick fog and sky obscured, I think it came in about 0530-0600 before then frost with clear skies, a low of -3.1 C, currently -1.2 C with overcast skies and fog briefly lifting to mist at times.

    Fog thinned and cleared briefly last evening, only to thicken up again through the night. Widespread frost. Thick freezing fog this morning.

    Yesterday. 

     

    Clear for the first half of the night, thick freezing fog forming. This morning no change, very icy underfoot. Thick fog all day, visibility <25 yards at times. Frost retuning late afternoon.

    A dry day with sunny spells cloudier round lunch time and now turning misty as temps drop. Despie being colder the frost melted by lunchtime where yesterday it lasted all day despite much higher temperatures.

    Dense fog finally cleared by lunchtime. Brief sunny intervals then grey and murky again in the afternoon. Cold. Maximum 5.2, minimum -0.5. Wind light SW.
