A dry and foggy night with freezing fog from 1700 yesterday evening onward. The fog thinned to mist by about 0400 and since then it's been dry, overcast and misty.  Trees, fences etc above 310 mts have a thin coating of rime but, apart from that, very little sign of any frost despite a min' of -1.1c. Even the soil is unfrozen and for the second consecutive night the grass min' was higher than the air min'.

    At 0900

    Temp; -0.3c

    24 hr max; 0.7c

    24 hr min; -1.1c

    Grass min; -0.6c

Rainfall in 24 hrs ending 0900; 0.0 mm

Mean wind speed; 4 mph W/SW
