Made it to Southport for the day… sun making an appearance ☀️ ?

Quite mild even with the breeze… compared to Glossop earlier…. Lookslike we might have 15-17c midweek next week..

A nice day again today. Clouded in during this afternoon, but in the sun around midday it felt very spring like and warmer than previous days with a high of 13.9C.

Just the odd jot of rain but otherwise a dry very quiet day. Lots of cloud and limited brightness and fairly light winds. Max 10 degrees. Rather benign.

Looking like the removal of the 'big coat' kind of weather with 15c potentially in parts into early next week. No heatwave but nicely springlike particularly in any sunshine.

A bright, breezy but mild start to the day, 9.4C. Turning more unsettled as we head into the weekend after a dry few days, but with temps easily into double figures it will certainly feel warm in any sunny periods given the strength of the sun now. The chances are we'll still get a late wintry blast, as we often do, but starting to turn my sights towards the convective season now.

I spent yesterday with our Yorkshire friends and what a lovely spring day it was, I wish I could have stayed longer. Mild breezy start here today, no sign of the sun but cloud is fairly high at the moment. Barometer seems to be dropping, suggesting some showers or rain later, but I think anything more is likely to be confined to the SW and Wales.

Early finish Friday and nice to see the rain arrive just in time

only nuisance value but it’s amazing how much difference a lack of sunshine makes to the feel of the day at this time of year.

very pleasant until just after lunchtime even with the breeze but cold and raw since.

Not the best of days. Started off bright but cloud quickly took over and it has rained non stop since about 10. Some heavy pulses of rain at times.

Looks great apart from the green things taking up valuable plate space and doing nothing other than contaminating the chips.

Pulverised and served sloppy with fish and chips they’re great but garden peas……..no thanks

i don’t know where my dislike of the little green monsters has come from but I even pick them out in fried rice.

Nice morning after some overnight rain but clouds are gathering and I think I'm going to have to keep our washing indoors, alas!

Sunny here but not trusting the washing line method for drying.

3 maidens full in my house.

Using tumble dryer very very sparingly, dishwasher redundant and apart from last nights treat from the Chinese,  trying to batch cook.
