Dry but damp with sky obscured in fog, about 5-600 M here, less at the airport (300M), a low of 5.2 C

Clear spells overnight, thick fog forming towards dawn, visibility <50 yards. This morning, fog.

8 Oktas Fog / Stratus.

Barometer 1014.4mb Trend falling.

Yesterday. 

 

Clear spells overnight, another ground frost, 17 now recorded so far this March. After a bright and sunny start, thick fog rolled in from the fields with visibility down to <50 yards. The fog lifted in to low cloud after mid morning. The early afternoon saw the low cloud thinning and clearing to allow good sunny spells. Feeling warm and pleasant.

Clear last night but fog formed on lower ground by 0400 g.m.t and quickly spread up the hillsides to give thick fog here from 0530 g.m.t.  A foggy and much colder morning than recently but the fog has thinned in the last 20 minutes and at the moment it's cloudy but a bit brighter than earlier.

At 0800 g.m.t
