Cloud thickened after mid morning with rain moderate at times through till early afternoon. Broken cloud followed allowing short sunny spells, also showers scattered around.

    A day of showers which were wintry in the morning but grew lighter as the day went on so were off rain. Breezy at times winds reaching force 6 for a while in the afternoon.
