Back for the storm season, early.

let's hope this summer is better than last summer.

Place already booked after a stormless summer last year.

April and May usually provide at least the odd rumble from beefy showers, but nothing so far, I know most of the country is in the same boat of course.

Fingers crossed for a short stay here this year, but I won't be holding my breath.

In my area last year, i don't think i even had a real overhead storm. Heard a few rumbles. so figures crossed the next few days give me something

Two rumbles of thunder here this morning, so I'll have to bow out of this thread early. The Solent coast really is a hot spot for thunder in the UK

Very magnanimous of you MWB, a couple of rumbles is hardly a storm! Still 2 more than most of us though, but I'd say you're qualified to stay .

Hello again. Last year we had one rumble as a moderate shower moved away - yes thats right. Heres to 2022 providing anything more exciting in Hazlemere, HIgh Wycombe. So far today moderate rain - no thunder. Garden did need a watering to be fair though.

2020 was the last time this area had a storm, pretty pitiful. Many a time i have seen them coming our way then miss us by 15 miles and hit Shrewsbury or Brum!! So lets see what 2022

brings...

Sorry but I think I'm going to count this as a Storm, 100's of lightning strikes including multiple close CG's, so it's goodbye from me and good luck to everybody else.

Why did I post that comment in no storms club ? Because before this A few hours before I was doubtful and sad but it happened even in central Britain. Always have hope

Saw a few houselights flashing off and cars flashing giving way politely, other than that, nothing other than a few spots of rain falling from above, been a while since we had a full on storm here.

Don't know whether I'm still in - dad saw some flashes last night from the storm over Cambridgeshire and far West Norfolk, but I heard and saw nothing.
