Latest Aim .....surprisingly, there's that fluctuation in mass again

Those speckles at 10.00 o'clock look interesting, that area should be over us tonight.. but i suspect cloud will prevent viewing.

Turbulence?....

I did go out last night, despite the poor daisy chart, but obviously saw nothing... it had to be done though...

Daisys are back, and are rather interesting with several areas of lower latitude patches showing up .... all we need now are clear skies!

BUGGER!.... looks like we will be robbed of a decent display as most of us are under tropospheric cloud... it would certainly be worth popping out for a view/staying up if it was clear,

Bit higher quality, seems like we've missed a decent display due to the bloody cloud!

NLCs seen this morning in the far north of scotland last night.... this chart suggests we wouldnt have seen them, last night nor tonight... but who knows?

Agreed Rob,

Although the fluctuation in mass seems to be changing with every daily Aim run, the rotation is becoming more noticeable...hence more predictable

I haven't seen the images from last night, to gauge the altitude of the sighting,

However this would suggest that there`s been in increase in the mass of cloud over the 2 day period of transition.

Marrsy have been on fire over the last couple of days

AND from SpaceWeather.com

"SUNSPOTS IN DECAY: With multiple sunspot groups in rapid decay, the sun is on the verge of producing a spotless day--a remarkable development more than 2 years after the start of Solar Cycle 25. The chance of strong solar flares today is close to zero. "

Not wanting to temp fait, through my eyes the signs are looking more

Cheers Rob, i`ve just applied to join the site

Brilliant   The altitude of the nlc`s pictured, are higher up than what was represented by the 05 Daisy, which indicates growth

It might be clear tonight ( not obscured by thunder storms IMBY )

Expect the unexpected

i dont think it will be fully clear tonight, theres a frontal system arriving overnight.. these cumulous should die down though .. so if theres anything theyll probably be partially obscurred.. im on standby! lol

Latest Aim .... doesn't look promising  but more growth ... worth a look in the clear skies

I'm out hoping to see something, but the cloud is starting to encroach from the west, but it's making slow progress
