    A shower  yesterday evening at 2130 g.m.t but once that had moved away the rest of the night was dry with variable amounts of cloud. Dry with sunny intervals so far this morning.

    Dry and pleasantly warm with long sunny spells, cloudier for a while around lunchtime. Maximum 21.4, minimum 11.7. Wind light SW.

    Spent the weekend in the Brecon Beacons, where it was dry and windy with sunny spells on Sunday and similar with a couple of afternoon showers on Saturday. Maxima around 18°C.

    • Wet March so far with more rain for the rest of the month, but hints of more settled weather early April

      It's been a wet March for much of the UK, with well above average rainfall, though the Northern & Western Isles have been drier than average. Despite a colder drier respite on Monday, staying generally unsettled to see out the rest of the month. But hints of some drier weather in early April. Read the full update here
