Starting tomorrow there will be a moderate drop in temperature also in the south of Italy and on Saturday in the south of the Balkans... From Sunday to Thursday I will be in Seville, Andalusia, for holiday 🙂

Summer 2022 in Italy was the second hottest. Further east, it was the hottest summer in the time series in Serbia. In both countries, the hottest summers are concentrated from 2003 to today. The hottest summers before 2003 were the summers of 1950 and 1994 in Italy and the summers of 1950 and 1998 in Serbia but today they are no longer present in the top 7 hottest, as they have been surpassed by much more recent summers.

At the moment, November does not look as much above average 81/10 in Italy as October. Today there is a moderate thermal decrease, especially in the eastern regions.

The autumn of 2022 turned out to be the third mildest in the historical series in Italy, after 2018 and 2014. December is also proving to be very mild in mainland Italy

Merry Christmas to all! It is the hottest Christmas in the historical series in several Italian regions, especially in the western ones. 2022 is clearly the hottest year in mainland Italy.

Like 2022, 2023 also started with spring temperatures in mainland Italy and the southern Balkans. Yesterday 18 degrees in Podgorica, 19 in Rome. Happy new year to all!
