Its 26.6C in the lounge and 27C in the dining/kitchen area although downstairs is open plan. Still 27.4C outside but I will likely open all the windows in half hour wheb going to bed as the temp outside will likely drop to or just below the indoor temps within the next hour or so.

25c now inside and out, all windows curtains and doors open for the whole night until the morning now. It's worked really well and did it for a good few nights to realy cool the the house down.

Bungalow now at 27.3c.  Managed to get cat pen down to 25c and Butty’s boudoir down to 27.1c (important as he has a medical condition) using damps towels on clothes horse and fans blowing over frozen water bottles.  So late going to bed trying to cool things down.  I will get up and check them all at some point during the night though.  Mad that I’ll have to repeat the whole process again tomorrow.

Currently 29 Celsius in my living room and 31.1 Celsius in my bedroom (and rising) with 37% humidity,

The hottest it has ever been in my house.

26.1°C in the lounge. The highest here is only 26.2°C in 4 years, which should be exceeded tonight.

Went up to 32.4 in my bedroom earlier on.

It's 31.9 in there now, so gradually heading in the right direction.

31°C down from a peak of 34°C this afternoon. Very uncomfortable but it feels good knowing the end is near!

It may have worked really well, but isn’t leaving all the doors open at night taking a huge security risk? 😮

Wow that is nice and cool, I think you must have the coolest house out of everyone on here.

I live in a detached bungalow and it’s a lot cooler than a lot of other houses, especially modern well insulated ones/flats.

Still it’s a really warm night indoors here. 26C in living room, 26.5C in hallway, about 28C in kitchen, probably about 27/28C in the bedroom. I’m sat in front of the fan, naked and still sweating.😑😓 Cant remember feeling this warm indoors though.

It reached 35C outside today here so I’m lucky it’s not even warmer indoors.

I should also mention that although the indoor temps are lower than a lot of others, my house being a bungalow is more damp/humid, which makes it feel very stuffy/clammy when it gets above about 23C.

My indoor record is about 26C so I’ve beaten that I think. Not opening any windows tonight otherwise I’ll be sharing my room with about 10 million insects, ugh.

The house although old is well insulated though so it’ll take a awhile for the heat to drain away, even with all the windows open tomorrow.

Hopefully the last of the heat this summer.

Still 28c in the bedroom despite window open and fan on. Really stubborn heat.

It was 31c at its peak though.

29.c in the bedroom, but feels hotter. Once this apartment block heats up, it just doesn't cool down. I gave up and got up. Got some important admin to do tomorrow....I'm going to be useless.

As I was awake, I did see a badger drinking out of the waterbowl down on the communal lawn though!
