29.c in the bedroom, but feels hotter. Once this apartment block heats up, it just doesn't cool down. I gave up and got up. Got some important admin to do tomorrow....I'm going to be useless.

As I was awake, I did see a badger drinking out of the waterbowl down on the communal lawn though!

You have badgers😮 31c in my bedroom, woke up very dehydrated

Yes, we have a green corridor  behind our flat that leads to the railway line, golf course and open countryside beyond. There's been a big wildlife water bowl here for years (but also a lady who leaves birdfood peanuts on the ground at night, which the badger love). So the badgers are here most nights, except when it rains heavy as the worms come to the surface, the rain forms puddles, so they don't need to venture far from home for food and drink.

I too have woken up dehydrated despite drinking 3 litres of water yesterday and keeping out of the sun.

Got some cross-ventilation going on now cooling things down, now 26.2°C in the lounge. The warm temps have really made my reed-diffuser smell very strong!

A nice comfortable 22°C in the lounge, down from 26°C a couple of nights ago. Other rooms very similar.

Strange how a small change in indoor temperature affects comfort so much.

Around 20-21°C most comfortable for me, below 20°C I usually need a hoodie/jumper, below 18°C usually too cold even in a jumper. Above 23°C uncomfortable unless I take my t-shirt off. Above 25°C uncomfortable even if I’m naked.

I should mention the humidity in my house tends to be rather high so only a narrow range of temperatures feel comfortable. Too warm and the humidity makes it feel too warm, stuffy, clammy, too cold and the humidity makes it feel cold, damp. A house that has low humidity will feel more comfortable at 25C than a house with high humidity at the same temperature.

Getting a weather station that also measures indoor temp and humidity soon so it will be interesting to see and compare it to other people’s.

12:49PM

22.3°C, 59% humidity in the lounge.

Much better but would prefer 20. Very cold wet weather today is helping.

21.7°C in my lounge apparently but the battery may be going flat. It can under-read when that happens.

Down to 20°C in the lounge. Barely any warmer outside (currently 19°C). Starting to feel rather cool in the house this evening. The damp gloomy weather not helping. Definitely don’t need my fan on now!

23.5c in my house at the moment despite having the back door and windows open all day, noticed it was rather more humid feeling today than it has been for a few days. Fan still currently running in the front room and my desk fan I use in the bedroom decided to die on me on Monday of all days

It's currently 22.8 Celsius in my bedroom and 56% humididty, so a little more humid than of late.

So still a bit on the warm side for my liking, but a lot more comfortable than it was a few days ago. I am still having my fan on at night whilst sleeping and probably will do until the temp drops down to around 21 Celsius.
