I see there's a lot of 15.5c guesses, which was my instinct too. But just to be slightly different I'll go for 15.6c instead please.

Slightly Wetter than recently but not actually wet is my rainfall guess. 61mm

Not yet anyway, this is a rather early call for me, I usually post around the last day of the month. Suspected it might be looking like high 14s which might get popular so I took this spot. Will re-assess on the 31st. Even so, 14.9 is tied 26th warmest all time, so it's only a slight shift in pattern from the summer trend and in terms of ranking, ahead of June (same absolute value).

Well, hopefully it won't trend warmer for September over the next week!

I will make my guess on the 31st.  However, I also see the general warm trend continuing through September, albeit hopefully not to the same level as July and August!

15.0 and 85mm, with warm anomalies concentrated on minima. Maxima perhaps average overall.

Unusually wet first half, cool days warmer nights (based on models).

Hoping for a more settled, warmer by day, and drier second half. Perhaps the reverse of recent Septembers, which have tended to be warm and dry for the first 20 days, and wet at the end.

Most 21C+ days occurring around mid-month, as (hopefully) a more settled pattern takes hold. Cooling off late month but staying relatively settled.

Perhaps some similarities to 1998 and 2008 in the distribution of wet and settled days (recognising that these two years were significantly different in actual synoptics, 1998 being considerably warmer).

I'll go for 15.0c and 68mm ppt please 🙂

I can see an unsettled spell but feel it won't be too potent. Nothing major in terms of heat but relatively warm and settled after that.

Going for a chilly September, the warmth has to end at some point.

13.4C and 90mm. Thanks

Changing to 14.4C and 110mm

A wet September could be on the cards, after such a lengthy dry spell.
