Well two storms on consecutive days, not often that happens here, it looked worse east and west of me but still managed to rain at 114.0 mm per hour at 1700. Just 7.6 mm from the storm, fair amount of lightning, thunder, not for me being so deaf!

A cool and wet day - after a very dry summer we've had more than September's average rainfall in the first 8 days. Dry start with brief sunny intervals, spells of heavy rain with plenty of thunder from midday until early evening. Maximum 17.1, minimum 13.3. Wind light S.
