Bit difficult to have a cold haters club in Britain.  We barely know what real cold is. Lol

It isn't difficult because everyone is comfortable at different temperatures, for example for me anything below 18c is chilly and I don't been shivering all over (that's below 15c), I mean I can get shivers in the shade as soon as the sunshine goes in which anyone doesn't like. The only good thing happening right now with the temperatures is that your room will cool down pretty quickly at night so you'll have a more comfortable sleep. But besides that I'd love to have more heat 😄

It was a tongue in cheek remark. People do seem to have different tolerances to temperature.

Although I tend to find wearing the correct clothing negates the need for shivering

My tolerances are different to some because I work outdoors and am used to dressing for that. So for me true cold only starts once the Mercury drops below freezing point.

Anything above that is just a bit raw or chilly. 😂

Something to think on, how can you truly appreciate the warmth without experiencing cold, and visa versa? 😊

Celebrate the cold as it means not too far ahead the sun will be back and summer again!

The title of the thread should really have been cold, damp, dark and miserable haters club, was a bit long though  😄

I kinda like you! Anything between say 3/4 and 16 is just yuck and chilly/cold. Once it gets really low temps near freezing and below I somehow acclimatise and it's ok?! Weird ...

Moderate Cold (5 to say 12C) + cloud = yuk! Take me abroad somewhere

    Cold+ sunny/frosty = seasonable/tolerable

Cold + a blizzard = awesome, let's get out in it.

I'm in Margate at the moment with its famous ever present howling sea winds. Coat and hat needed for me whereas the same temps in Sheffield feel much warmer.

i prefer -25c here in Canada to a damp +5c in the UK..because of the dampness that +5c feels colder than -25c

And when you think about it even though December 2010 was likely the coldest for 100 years or something like that places like Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, the Baltic's get those sorts of temps that we had every single winter. It shows just how pathetic and mild our winters are in general when we have to wait decades to have a similar experience.

Vile weather forecast for here this weekend, just 10°C maximum on Saturday 🤮 I said I didn’t mind a cool down from the 30°C over much of summer but was thinking more 20°C 😂
