Glad to hear that, this last few years has been a challenge to many around the world. I've got a huge task still not fully completed to change some of my data bases from CET legacy to CET v2.0. That work is about half to two-thirds done now, but if I had known in 2018 they were thinking of doing this, I would have held off doing all the work I did on various files that now require a full overhaul, spent a lot of time 2018-2020 creating the files then I heard about v2.0 some time around late 2020 or early 2021, it took over a year to appear but I had already done all the files I ever planned to do by then. It's a whole bunch of very small changes and a handful of bigger ones but as my thread on the subject demonstrates, about 20% of daily CET records have changed years as well as in numerical terms, and monthly averages have shifted, mostly down in the fairly recent past (1974 to 2004 seems to be the era of downward adjustment, it's more neutral since 2005 with a brief spike of warmer values then). We miss a bunch of former regulars around the contest, and their contributions.

I’m going for 7.9c and 86mm.  Westerly pattern to start.  North / South divide generally re precip and wind strength HP to SW/S.  Potential movement of HP to move over UK after midmonth eith fog but alsilo pleasant days. It then shifting west with NW/N winds setting in towards end.  Generally mild, but chill kicking in later

A change to 8.4c and 87mm rain please, WH did a post on this i think it was this time last year, re-analysing past Novs rainfall, even the dry ones aren't actually all that dry plus i'm not wholly buying into the Ukmo late Nov forecast, it may happen but well post 20th and may be brief.
