A warm damp start with light rain

Currently 12.4c cloudy but dry. Had rain showers earlier in the morning. Overnight low 12.1c which suggest the temp has been pretty stable throughout the night. Pressure 999.8hPa and rising. Humidity 81%. Wind ave 16mph with gust 23mph.

Cloudy and not raining currently after a very wet 24+ hours, the low overnight was a mild 12.1 C. My rainfall total from midnight is 16.8 mm, the total since early yesterday is 34.0 mm. By far the wettest period this year and some way back into last year but not actually checked yet.

Further moderate-heavy rain yesterday evening with one flash of lightning and a rumble of thunder at 2055 g.m.t.The rain cleared for a couple of hours from 0000 g.m.t but light-moderate rain returned during the early hours and eventually stopped by 0645 g.m.t.

Rain cleared away shortly after midnight, staying mostly cloudy. Cloudy this morning, a little light showery rain at first this morning, cloud breaking allowing some brighter spells.

A spell of moderate rain before midnight cleared by the early hours. Staying cloudy and mild. Further continuous heavy rain set in around dawn. The rain sopped shortly after 09:00 GMT. After a cloudy end to the morning, sunny spells developed during the early afternoon also scattered moderate showers. Further moderate showery rain mid to late evening.

Dry and mostly cloudy with the occasional sunny interval.  Must have had at least 35mm rain since yesterday morning.  The rain was so heavy it has seeped through from next doors garden into my car port so I’ve had a major drying out job to do this morning 😔
