Woke to rain and gusty winds from the southwest, with a bank of persistent rain bubbling up over the coast as the low crosses it. There must be a formal meteorological term for this, but it's impressive on the animated radar.

Today's weather was cloudy and heavy rain from the start last till 2pm then was patchy rain till dark and also windy with gusts upto 40mph temperature was 11.C.
