Super cold air is lurking out to the north East, if that scandi high can just intensify, it will march towards western Europe

That looks like someone's been making shapes playing angles and lines. What ever happens it won't be this, it's to unnatural.

The heights to the south are relentless, is a brief glimmer off hope in the 18z gfs of them ridgeing north but are soon flattened and its back to square one 😠

No feature is able to stand still - too much mobility for now on the modelling.

Apart from a limpet low over the UK.

Not long to go now so enjoy my 2022 weather round up and a bit of me playing cricket (won't do my forecast for now as I'm running out of charge). Happy New Year everyone and here's to a great 2023 hopefully 😀.

Thought the 18z could’ve given us something a bit better than a toppler to finish off 2022! 🙂 Hey ho, keep an eye on that warming for January, fancy we could get something very interesting in a few weeks.

Happy new Year from Paris (1 hour in to 2023 already) and here’s to a fab new year full of good health, snow, ice days and thunderstorms.

And, if you’ll excuse me once a year, up the mighty Spurs!! 💪

For once in my life I don't care what the weather models show this evening.

It's a New Year so it's a new beginning. This could be a year of crazy extremes again...perhaps with time the states will warm up,while us and Europe go colder...Thats the way things go around, and sooner or later it will be us lot making the Headlines!.

So I hope you've made your wish right now,and I hope whatever you have wished for comes true! (As long as its not for my demise)🤣

Been a fab year on here folks..and I've loved every minute of it...I actually feel like I know many of you on a personal level, strange as that seems. One big Family if you like.

My real wish is for my Dad to be well again.. its not gonna happen,so my next wish will be for you lot to be well again if your currently poorly.

That's the kind of guy I am.

Here's to a fab year of model watching...let the force be with us my lovelies.😘
