    Cold and clear overnight with a min temp of -4.5C, which is actually our coldest January min for 10 years.

    Now cold, clear and sunny with the temp still down at -3.4C.

    Mostly cloudy overnight. A few cloud breaks around dawn and this morning. Ground frost. A cloudy morning with a few light showers scattered around, these turning to sleet and wet snow early afternoon. The showers cleared away by mid afternoon with some sunshine though turning noticeably colder, ground frost setting in well before dusk.
