A cold clear start with ground frost, current low is 0.4C still edging down

The actual low was -0.3 C, so the 3rd consecutive air frost

A sheet of broken Ac early yesterday evening moved away by mid evening to leave the rest of the night clear. A marked inversion during the evening with the temperature rising to 4.9c at 2150 before slowly falling again. Valley fog developed by dawn and has intermittently spread up to around the 250 m level since then but with almost continuous sunshine since sunrise.
