A dry and mostly cloudy night but the cloud cleared before dawn and the temperature fell sharply to give the first air frost for a month. Mainly sunny since 0800.

Mainly cloudy overnight, odd shower. Cloud breaks forming close to dawn with a ground frost developing. Bright and hazy sunny spells this morning. Further sunny spells, also wintery light to moderate showers of soft hail and snow breaking out late morning and afternoon.

A chilly day with patchy light rain in the morning turning to sleet for a few minutes at lunchtime then back to rain. Cloudy and dry in the afternoon with brief sunny intervals. Maximum 6.1, minimum 1.2. Wind light NE.
