Light snow during Thursday evening has left a slight covering in places otherwise it continues cold and cloudy with a strengthening north easterly wind

Snow blizzard like conditions at times guess around 24cm of snow and drifting

Further snow overnight, heavy at times, and, with the wind increasing to gale force during the early hours, quite a lot of drifting. The last of the snow died out around 0930 and at the moment it's dry with sunny intervals.

Finally got the snow to melt and 37.8mm of rain.

Some more snow this morning now sunny with a steady thaw

A spell of moderate rain / sleet last night cleared away before midnight leaving a cloudy night with a continued slow thaw. Out breaks of moderate snow around dawn accompanied by a fall of temperature to around freezing, this produced a light covering before stopping before mid morning. Cloud began to clear towards late morning allowing sunny spells.

Minimum temperature on grass -0.1c 

Maximum wind gust: Midnight to Midnight) 25.3mph E

Rainfall total = 17.1mm 

Snow depth 2cm 80%

Yesterday. 

 

Further light to moderate snow last night, though this died out late evening, leaving a mostly cloudy night with a touch of frost for a time. There was a slow thaw through the early hours. Further snow commenced towards dawn, light at first turning moderate mid morning producing a further patchy wet cover 70% of 2cm. Moderate wet snow continued through the morning and in to the afternoon producing a further wet cover before stopping before mid afternoon. A little drizzle followed late afternoon. A slow thaw continued throughout.

A very cold day after early snow. Slow thaw late morning onwards

Intermittent light snow died out by 1000, the cloud then dispersed and from late morning onward it was sunny with a slow thaw.
