Its now just 6 weeks until the first Tour for our 20th Season chasing starts. And our next Tornado will be our 250th seen in the Great Plains and Tornado Alley. I hope a lot of you can follow our progress this year and we hope to send back more stunning images.

Who is a Storm Chase Virgin this season and what are you expecting/hoping to see. Also if you have any questions please ask away and we will aim to reply to all questions in this thread.

This season we will have 8 drivers over our 4 tours and we will be represented by 6 different countries and 7 including guests.

Tour 1 will have Jeff Prescott who is from Canada and Jock McGinty who is from Australia as your drivers both have over 20 years experience out in Tornado Alley.

Tour 2 will have Graham Moore and Ben Cooper who are from England and Arron Hiscox who is from Wales. Again all 3 drivers have a combined 30 years of chasing experience.

Tour 3 will have Graham Moore and Arron Hiscox driving again along with Slovenian Chaser Jernej Liposec who chases all across Europe.

Tour 4 will have Tom Lynch who has been heading out to Tornado Alley since the late 1990s and Melody Sturm who is originally from Holland and who now works at the BOM (Bureau of Meteorology in Australia) and again both have over 30 years combined knowledge and driving experience.

Its looking like an active season with the transition from La Nina to Neutral ENSO Phase and am confident the active pattern is going to sustain through the peak months of April, May and June.

We do still have a couple of spaces left on Tours 1 and 4 so if anybody wants to sample Supercells this year and the biggest baddest Storms on Planet earth please message me or Paul Michaelwaite on here and we can probably get you one of the last remaining spaces.

Regards and see you all across the Pond in a few weeks time

Paul

Sorry for lack of updates so far we have been doing 18 hour days and have not had a chance to upload any pictures to work on yet. A quiet period is coming up so will have some chances then,

A brief Update so far though we have covered 3000 miles in 5 days of chasing.

Bonus Day we chased a couple of Tornadic Supercells along the Iowa and Nebraska Border and clocked up 800 miles

Day 1 : - We chased a Slight Risk and photographed a beautiful Supercell in SW Missouri

Day 2 :- We chased a stunning HP Supercell through Central Kansas along a south moving boundary

Day 3 :- We witnessed 3 Tornadoes in NE Colorado after an amazing Colorado Chase

Day 4:- We witnessed a distant Tornado South of Colby but missed the Tornadofest on the Colorado/Kansas Border.

Day 5 we are chasing in Eastern and North Eastern Nebraska today.

17 days before I set off for the plains to meet up with the Netweather team. If you have never been on a tour before and you have time and money, get a trip booked. You will never regret it.
