I certainly spoke too soon about the trough being through; no sooner had I posted than it started again; a total of 14mm since it started this afternoon, although it does appear to have finally given up.Looking at the Met Office radar that rain band is now East of here.

Twas a day of 2 halves :!:

Torrential rain,gusty winds and some day darkness this morning.

Then mostly sunny from 1300 :D , in fact a glorious afternoon with a max of 13c.

Clear now but radar shows downpours heading this way :!:

Left work to hear a severe weather warning for North Yorkshire on the radio :? what?

Two miles down the road the heavens opened. Bad trip home, major flooding.

It's been really heavy rain until an hour ago now seems to have calmed down

10.1c outside, 18.5c inside (need to sort the heating out :roll: )

P.K, Do you go to reading uni? I went there last untill last year and had a great time studying Horticulture, Drinking and going to the Union. Lived in the typical student house, down Crescent roaD.

A foggy damp morning. It had become foggy before midnight after a very wet afternoon into the evning. Min overnight was 5.3C.

Was 2C at 07:30 in Yr Wyddgrug with mist, in Deeside now it is 6C with thick fog, visibilty down to 100m

It is more like 10.17pm than am out here in Norwich-dark as anything and chucking it down with rain-standing water on the roads is amazing.

Yes. I was in Wells Hall last year, looks quite close to Crescent Road on the map.

Bright sunshine all morning. There are some very threatening cumulonimbus towers travelling northwards up the Irish Sea, the sferics indicate that they have been producing thunderstorms, but too far away to be audible here.
