Looks pretty much non existent for Scotland and yet half the country is covered by the yellow warning. The winds were stronger yesterday than they're forecast to be on weds but we had no warning. Honestly think until they come up with some sort of more standardised and consistent approach to warnings and named storms it'll just become ever more farcical.

I think yesterday the winds were generally stronger than expected, was blowing a hoolie down here too. Looks like the storm has move south of where it was a few day ago. Guess we'll see what it decides to do. Warnings might change depending what model guidance is showing tomorrow or even Wednesday. I'm more looking at the second low for impacts down here, looks like it could be quite a lively little feature in its own right

Just a stiff breeze and perhaps one or two showers down here then. Hopefully Thursday night's low can provide some interest.

UKMO and GFS are both showing a deeper low than yesterday's runs, and slightly further West, which will increase the winds across most of Ireland quite a bit, mainly South East which will take the brunt of it but England/Wales may be less impacted by this track of the storm.

Virtually no difference at all with the Predicted path and depth of Wednesdays low from last night's runs to this mornings. ....

Difference above between UKMO 12z yesterday and 0z, granted it isn't large, but small differences in track and wind speeds can make quite a difference to where and how severe the impacts are

Yep sound about right, just wondering what she will do here, I'm not expecting much down here, but it does depend on how wide her wind field is I guess. It'll definitely get very breezy, but just not sure how breezy. Guess we find out tomorrow.

Kind of looks like a developing tropical storm, but the driver is definitely more normal extratropical extreme cyclogenesis.

Maximum wind gusts of 35mph forecasted here. A yellow wind warning is not justified whatsoever, the exception being in the far north/west of the country.

Tomorrow warning will be more focused, at the minute they are allowing for track changes. Anywhere coastal in West/southwest UK will get some strong winds for sure.

40 to 45 mph gusts here just a normal autumn breezy day. Mainly for Ireland , Irish sea and SW Scotland. It will be interesting too see if the warnings get adjusted.

Pretty much where I live as well, personally not necessarily for most of Cornwall regarding a yellow warning.

From the Met office few hours ago, if you're in the Midlands and south eastwards, I think it won't be anything overly hectic, mainly a west / north western UK event where there is a lower population density.

Also attached the satellite 1600 and 1700 UTC, stunning satellite presentation of Agnes now rapidly intensifying.

I get the internal weather forecasts from an independent weather organisation for my job, just received the attached with regards to Agnes over the next couple of days.  Only stuff scribbled out are internal contact information.
