I'm further south than you, so milliseconds more of sunlight might entice mine to give it what more a tad longer. The crazy thing is, I'm breaking off dozens (12 - dozen imperial ) of new shoots just so the existing fruit finally reached a picking point. I am so tempted to let them grow, but I know they will not produce this late in the season. I'm taking out the one plant this weekend and leaving the other three, to finish off before any colder air arrives. However at this rate, it looks like that'll be December down here.
