Didn't last here. A hint of drizzle in the air now.

Cutting the last of the Cosmos bipanatis, then digging them up. Dahlias still going strong.

Only chinks of brightness here, but at least it's stopped drizzling.

Just dug up the last of the spuds. Plenty of leeks to go.

Did manage to see some chinks in the grey armour today on my trip to Sherborne, unfortunately did pick up some rain around Blandford, and the roads were greasy all the way from there to Sherborne. The car is now a mucky shade, rather than black, from all the mud off the farm vehicles doing their Sunday shopping.. Back 'ome tiz a singular grey rather than 50shades there of. Still the granddaughters loved their day out, I must be getting old, one of my granddaughters bought something and just whisked her phone out presented it to the card reader and et voila ...sorted. OMG, I've never done that in my life, I'm going to have to get her to teach me that one!😵Oh she's 14!!!!
Noticeable how the wind has swung back to the SW and the temperature zoomed up with the max of 13.7°C at: 14:27, AND the air quality has improved big time. What do the folks E of us eat, that causes such poor air quality?🫢

Just looked at the MAD thread and MAD it is, there's 200 postings today, somethings obviously stirring...and I can't be @rsed to read 200 postings and sorting the good from the "When will it snow here" posts.

Saw the sun a couple of hours ago. Only for a few minutes but that's more than the whole of the past week.

Its a bit of seasonal thing, the first chase of the winter, typical frenzy. I always watch, read and wait. We have some cracking folks in the area that only appear in the winter months, but they are really good, you''ll see them in the MAD thread. I watch them as they are stable posters. Meanwhile if people get excited over 240hr+ charts, I personally ignore them as with such a fluid environment ANYTHING can change, put it this way, if you were in a casino, you'd never bet on it..

Oh and it can be a bull pit with people fighting their corners. My advice is watch a few learned users, and ignore the other 190posts, as its mainly noise or "IMBY" postings.
