Morning All, now this is more like November, a cool night followed by a sunny start to the day. The overnight low of 3.7°C at: 03:18 has risen to 9.8°C, RH84% and a gentle breeze from the N with the report for cloud as "weather is CAVOK."

From Above a strong cloud feeder from the NNE could well hassle a few folk later

On Golden sands, the view is so good, its being actively censored!

So lets have a different perspective

I’m new the region having got a job at the Met Office.

The GFS teasing with almost perfectly (for snow) tracking channel lows next week. Something that almost never verifies.

jtay I’m not a qualified meteorologist yet but I do work alongside them so I can hopefully provide some insight as long as it doesn’t compromise anything 😊

For once I don’t actually want snow next week as I’m travelling around quite a lot. A week later would be much better 🙏🏼

Now this has been our measure for many years, don't say modern technology is booting beka's warmings out😱

As I mentioned earlier, the cloud would roll in, it has done for while as the sunshine measure shows, this afternoon.

BUT, with 12.5°C at: 13:45, out in the sunshine, tiz really pleasant..

Cracking, a good week of hard frosts, this winter and you'll be out ice skating on the lake, looks scrumptious.

Veterans of Channel Lows will understand this. Our site gets the ball rolling.Daily Express ups the ante...60 ft drifts ect.Next phase...yellow warning.

Don't travel unless you really must.

If you must, take a shovel, flask of hot drink, blanket, charge mobile up.

If you stay home, you look, very scared for the 60ft drifts.

In reality you see grass, pavements and road

The low has,as nearly always in the christmas pudding, gone South into France.

Is there an apology or explanation the next day.....nope.

Problem is blizzards used to bury Southern England in situations like this, sadly no more.

Will I be checking on this one,of course lol

Interesting to note that Odiham had 21 minutes of sunshine in a couple of weeks.I blame Basingstoke, for putting it in the shade.

Morning All, a fine sunny start to the day after a milder night with the overnight low of 7.0°C at: 06:37 currently 11.8°C,RH78% with a gentle breeze in from the NE - ENE and again the aviation weather is CAVOK(no clouds below 5000ft).
