jy the different colours are as show below and relate to forecasted amounts of precipitation (rain or snow) per hour.

@hailcore hmmm, I think that will disappear as we near the time, but for Northern most and hilly points in the area, maybe the inflow of the colder air and moisture, might drop a McFlurry! At the moment the track of the LP system is still not certain, so we'll have to wait for a day or so, to see where it wants to track.

Felt quite cold in the wind this afternoon although wasn't too bad in the sun once the showers disappeared early this afternoon.

Summertime Sadness This is a spinny thing that I take out when not in use. Only caught my finger in it twice. No lost appendages yet. 🤞🏽

 Summertime Sadness That's the one.

I thought you were renting for a bit. Will you be allowed to do stuff to the garden?

jtay Yes, have permission to do what ever I like here. There is even a very poorly trained wisteria out the back. Loads of overgrown bushes and roses so all needs sorting out 🤷🏼‍♀️

Summertime Sadness I've got a major wisteria job to do this winter, once the leaves come down. Got to cut it right back, to rebuild to front fence. Trouble is, it must be 80 years old. Can't kill it as the house is named after it. 🙈

Summertime Sadness It's pulling the fence down, so it has to go right back. Been reading up on it and asked our mentor at college last year. He said it can be cut back hard.

We did plant another to grow up the front of the house as an insurance policy, but the original is a beast. Will just have to accept no flowers for a year, or so. Will also ask jy for advice when he comes round again.

Meanwhile ECM is suggesting the Friday/Saturday LP system is a channel crawler (some cold air in place would have been nice) before heading into France.

UKMO aligns with ECM at the moment with

Meanwhile GFS goes for a cross Midlands event

One will mean it'll somewhat breezy here, whilst the other would suggest less wind, but more rainfall. Who will be correct, answers on a £20 note posted to...
