Nothing out of the ordinary here either, as expected. Nothing over 30mph yet and it's supposed to start easing soon.

We never get hit by high winds in Maltby for whatever reason

Same here, no big deal. Windy for sure but nothing too out of the ordinary. The sun is shining so it's a great drying day.

Been very similar here, but I gather further up the coast is much worse. ~55mph gusts maybe a bit more. Not the worst this winter so far, 8th Dec was far worse here with several houses suffering damage.

Kind of normal winter storm here, there was a day towards the end of August last year that was much more wild here. Still can’t take any chances with the warnings though.

It's defintely one of those storms which turns out to be a normal winter storm for us but i can see why the red warning went out for the whole of Ireland.

Wind have actually picked up later this afternoon, I would estimate strongest gusts at 65mph, but that's not unusual for this location.

Nothing really stormy today two gusts to 50mph and that's it. Since it hit 50 I'll call it storm but it was one of the weakest of this autumn including unnamed storm which was much stronger

We're pretty sheltered to the south so only 45mph here. If it had been anything North of WSW it would have been another matter.

M.O. ......  A brief (in any one location) spell of very strong winds is possible overnight Sunday into Monday, moving northeastwards across parts of the highlighted region. Gusts of 55-65 mph are possible, should this spell develop, with a very small chance of localised gusts of up to 80 mph, particularly near coasts.

Confidence remains very low with regards to the track of this development, if it occurs. The strongest winds will probably only affect a narrow swathe somewhere within the broader warning area.

A vile evening out currently, pishing down and blowing a hoolie, feels proper cold in the wind, a good night to hunker down....

Interesting, it's looking like we might well get the rain and strong winds overnight then after all!

Should go to the SE of us we may get some NW winds but it looks set to bypass us.

If the GFS is right for Wednesday night into Thursday it might be interesting with cold uppers coming into play. However GFS seems to be the odd one out of that idea.

Its always a drama when the 'south' gets a bit of weather, southern forums will be a wash with posts of broken finger nails and flying wheelie bins 😂
