Pleasant change from yesterday's characterless anticyclonic gloom with sunshine now.

Nice to see a bit of sunshine today. Also saw a bumblebee and a ladybird today... nature appears terribly confused 😕 although justifiably so.

it made me smile seeing the sunshine and blue skies break through yesterday in the afternoon, if only that could be what this dry period is but nope, we have this depressing dull muck instead

Vortex3929 They packet does say if you plant them late they could bloom until the first frosts.
But I planted them to bloom in June, and they did not. Does feel a bit strange in November!

moogyboobles very interesting actually. I have no knowledge on plants in all honesty but coming into bloom for November sounds odd. I always associate plants coming into life with spring and early summer.. autumn and winter being barren for nature

It's been dull and occasionally misty here for what seems like an age already, with more days like this to come, at least it's dry.

I actually managed to get another lawn cut in yesterday late afternoon.

Some cold weather flirting with us but in FI,  A few days of blue skies and a frost or two would be a nice start!

So much for it being milder that was forecast on Sunday when they were talking about highs of 15/16 degrees.Been dull, drizzly at times and cool with a max of only 10 degrees here🤷🏼‍♂️.In the last 10 days here we have had 3 hours sunshine (Monday afternoon 12.30-3.30).That says it all👎🏻

Is the radar/app on here working ok or is there genuinely absolutely no rain anywhere this morning?

I checked it as it looked like it had rained in the night, but I guess that's just dew.

moogyboobles There was no rain showing on the radar here last night, but the air had the lightest of rain drops falling intermittently upon us during our evening walk and the cars all had a slight covering of drizzle. It was a bit misty too. I'm guessing the radar doesn't quite pick up precipitation that is super-light.

Anybody else see this graphic on ITV evening news last night? Two or three hours of sunshine at best for most of us over the last week. Awful! Where's my SAD medication......

Just watching a YouTube video, Colorado has seen 40" of snow in the last week! Imagine that here , country would grind to a halt. I know we moan about the lack of snow but we are quite lucky really
