Certainly a cooler environment at the moment.

Went out for a vape yesterday evening and had to step back in to put a jacket on. That hasn't happened so far this year.

Methuselah Quite ironic really you support Spurs and live in Suffolk and my boys (Ipswich) do a number on you! 🙂

As for the MAD thread...they will NEVER learn and talk of 4c maxes in this region next week that won't happen unless we're under dark skies still conditions and heavy rain...0z GFS gives this region 2 severe storms in the next 9 days (absolute OTT model).

 Froze were the Days

The Tractor Boys played well and deserved their win. I hope they stay up. 👍

OTT? The GFS? The Punditry? 🤣

Froze were the Days  They seem to be pretty excited at the moment after todays model runs, then again it doesnt take much.

A nice November day here, bright and sunny, mild-ish with 12c max a short period of cloud and drizzle in afternoon but can't complain.

JennyJane1 welcome back. Not going to pry but hoping you're well and recovered!

Ahh bless them in the mad thread 😁 I just commented with another poster that this year when visiting the mad thread, im just there for the ride.  Im way too pessimistic about snow potential now a days, so wont get emotionally invested this year. If nothing comes from this winter, i wasnt expecting it  - and thats absolutely fine! Anything more = a bonus!

Vortex3929  I’m the same, hope for the best but expect the worst. Not a bad motto for snow in the SE!

Just looked and we had 8mm from those passing showers this morning. Little streamer from the NE, just a shame it wasn’t cold enough for it to be snow

Quite a bit of "interesting" weather being put on the table next week, it's going to be great model watching.

obviously for many it's a case of will it "snow" or not IMBY but we need to not overlook a potentially stormy spell of Weather.

Gales possible down our Eastern flank, that'll certainly make it feel a lot colder!

Plenty to keep an eye on which makes an interesting change.

Any plans to narrow this group down. ? I know it gets mentioned every year, but it covers a huge area of the country from the wash down to Dover ! Totally different climates and temperature ranges.

steveinsussex Good job it's still Autumn then Steve 😁

Certainly looks like it's going to get colder with the usual places doing well in terms of the set up, not really that noteworthy though and can't see anything more than cold rain from a IMBY perspective.

Brrrr! ❄️

The NEasterly wind the last few days have us in it's grip with temperatures responding especially when it gets dark. I include a graph to show that response so far today!

OutsideTempHistoryNov24.thumb.gif.ce8b198ba5cf6f72ac1d4ede7b954375.gif

Temperature
5.0°C

Dewpoint
3.7°C

Wind Chill
5.0°C

Wind
NNE

Today has seen an abundance of 🌞 sunshine here instead of the grey gloomy nothingless, so can welcome the temperature response.
