 Reefseeker Thanks for your good wishes.  Much appreciated. 

Although not perfect I got outside today and did various gardening jobs involving mainly tidying up after the recent windy conditions. All a bit mind over matter. Best you can do, if you have a medical condition, is try and have an achievable challenge and try and complete it carefully. Essential to try and keep your fitness up.  Helps with healing.  Fortunately I was reasonably fit when I had my initial diagnosis.

Two years ago today locally, it was beginning to look a lot like Christmas, soon warmed up for the big day unfortunately

Is it me but the first 12 days of December have been almost exactly the same as the first 12 days of November!!Gloomy drizzly and pretty much average to slightly below temps for both periods.The only slight difference was we had about 4/5 hours sun on Friday 6th December which was a bonus as I think for first 12 days of November we had 3.5 total sunshine.Would love a couple sunny frosty mornings but that doesn’t look like happening any time soon

And so another day, same rubbish weather. the drizzle is that penetrating type that soaks you after been in it for a little while. Not seen the top of the Shard for a good few days now, and the Xmas light show it has at the top of the tower is cloaked in mist/cloud

Despite the dampness the Winter Light Trail at Delapre Abbey was lovely last night - we could all do with a little less gloomy weather now, hopefully the sunshines Saturday for the parade

 MAF seasonal mate ,you know.. depressing yea ,but if it was mild it would be moaned at ,rain moaned at ,too windy moaned at ,etc etc  ..but what a bleak week 2c and drizzly ,but it's winter ,no go with the snow ,but seasonal it is ,like blue sky and frost , the other side of winter coin ,roll on spring huh ,just a few days before it  starts  getting lighter again

But with GW it is getting more and more continuous...I'd bet my mortgage that we experienced far more sun than of recent late Autumns/Winters than what we did 20/30 years ago, you can't just say that it's the other 'side of the coin' of Winter.

This last week has been nothing short of weather straight from beelzebub's bottom...might have seen the sun for half an hour earlier in the week (trying to remember).

Although not a full day of sunshine, we've just had a good couple of hours of blue skies and it's still clear enough to take away the usual gloomy feeling as we reach sunset!

Finally woke up to a beautiful sunny morning. I can do winter with days like this. It's the constant cloudy grey that does me in.

 Lauren Just grey and dull here at 10am ... .but feeling Mild, looks to be the theme for the week ahead.

If Christmas Day can't be snowy I'd rather it be mild, save on the heating and might even get the dining room table setup in the conservatory

Heavy snow shower in Northamptonshire this evening, unfortunately it was manufactured but I’ll take it as my only chance of a white Christmas this year as it looks like another mild one

I bet the November early snow chase now seems a distant memory for many? I missed out but it goes to show you have to grab any slim chance of cold/snow when you can.

Currently Cloudy with the odd patch of blue sky, feeling quite Mild.

Plenty of Winter to go if it's snow you require. Then hopefully a warm and sunny start to Spring.

I can see the sun for the first time in days, feels good for it to land on my day off too, won't be many of those in the next couple of weeks.
