This past week as been cold, damp and dark…..lets hope we’re got something festive to celebrate come Christmas week

This week has been the most stagnant weather I have experienced.

Maximum temperature range since midnight Saturday of  3° and 3mm of drizzle in last 2 days...

Never mind, i accordong to the BBC it's the Geminids meteor shower time.....will enjoy watching that whilst wiping the drizzle off me specs....

Clouded over a bit in the afternoon but still clear enough for a good view of the moon

Well we were spoilt with the November Snow spell and depressed by storm Darragh... if Christmas is going to be non snowy then I can cope with dry, settled and warm I guess! Just please no rain and wind!

 AltonMatthew Agree, at the moment its looking high (pressure) and dry.  Also, above 11 degrees possibly?  Not sure if that will change before then but no to wind and rain!  Brighter out today at least after some miserably dull weather.

I'm in Shrewsbury right now and although it's sunny there's quite a lot of really quite dark clouds to the N and NW. Even had a few drops of drizzle a little while ago.

At 4am these temperatures wouldn’t go a miss in August…..so for mid December it’s exceptional

 Dancerwithwings Urgh, horrible (in my view!) Definitely exceptional. And very unwelcome! Having said which, I've given up being surprised and disappointed these days...my old mate 'WINO' (Winter in Name Only!).

Overly 'mild' (warm) temperatures at this time of year can also play havoc with nature. Daffodils in January at this rate...!

Heavy rain for a few hours looking at the radar for my location at least, wish I had cleaned the gutters out..

At last. Got home, no more driving tonight, beer open, carols on the radio...I wish that rain out there was snow, but relieved to back home and to have a 'working from home' day tomorrow! Having said all of which, I've got a bloomin' cold coming on...
