Welcome to my Blog, bringing you my weather observations through North East Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and into the City of York during my daily commute from Melton Mowbray, by car and train.

Friday 22nd February 2008:

The mild wind blows.

Melton Mowbray 06:30hrs 10.7'c

A dry, grey start to the day in Melton Mowbray this morning with a brisk south westerly wind blowing in mild air. Some light precipitation was evident in places on the drive to Grantham and on board the train north.

On arrival into York it's pretty much the same conditions as when I set off.

Temperature at 06:30 was 10.7'C, lowest recorded overnight temperature 9.1'C.

Tomorrow; Sunny spells, some rain and wind. A mixed bag then..
