Currently in New Tredegar at 200m ASL, snow is struggling to stick here just seems to be melting. Only a very light dusting on the grass.

The rain actually woke me up around 3am this morning. A very light dusting of snow on cars here in Abertillery, but nothing on the roads.

never too wet to stick, bit of a myth. If it doesn't stick it's because the temperature and more so the ground temperature is not low enough. If the ground temperature is close or below freezing, it will stick whether it's wet or not
Ahh yeah haha, that makes sense tbh! i've just noticed its starting to stick more certain surfaces now as the temps keep dropping

A cold frosty start here this morning, now a mild evening with outbreaks of heavy rain, current temps at 9*C

Had a brief period of wet snow earlier, which has now turned back to rain/sleet.
