Precipitation: Average - What Do Do With Missing Values in Spring Weather Discussion Posted August 5, 2009 Hey, i´ve got rainfall Data (daily, one measuring a day) of a climate station in a time period of 40 years. Now i would like to calculate the Average of every singel decade. Normally i have to calculate: Sum of decade / number of years (10) Problem is, that there are often some days of missing values. If there are missing values in the rainy seasons, the average is absolutly incorrect. Not to notice this missing values is not a solution - ive tried it. So, what do i have to do? Maybe i have to interpolate? Ive load up a picture of my dataset: Missing Values are marked as -999.9 Thx for your help Sarek
